Ivory Wave
Other names: Vanilla Sky, Win-35,428, Ivory Coast, Purple Wave

Ivory Wave is a stimulant (upper) drug dubbed the new Herbal-E. It has been sold as a legal high for a number of years however since the outlaw of Mephedrone it has allegedly become more potent. The drug is openly sold as ‘soothing bath salts’ and is labelled ‘for novelty use only’, this to get around food and drug laws. IVORY WAVE WAS NEVER INTENDED TO BE USED AS BATH SALTS. Users can expect to feel excited, happy and joyful however the effects will be different for every individual user.

Risks and Dangers
The long term effects of Ivory Wave are unknown.

Reports claim that Ivory Wave contains a potent psychoactive (mind-altering) chemical similar to Ecstasy and Cocaine. However the chemicals used in legal highs change all the time, users can never be sure what they’re consuming or what the effects might be. Drugs approved for human use must meet very rigorous criteria. These legal highs have not being subjected to such testing and therefore could be harmful for human consumption.

The drug is believed to be highly addictive making users feel the need to use larger and larger quantities. It is recommended that users start with a very small test amount and then wait at least an hour before re-dosing. Don’t mix with any other legal highs, other substances or alcohol.

Users describe the drug as having significant side effects which include; increased paranoia, panic attacks, rapid heart beat, and a rise in blood pressure, excessive sweating, coughing fits and lack of sleep. Some versions of the product have also been linked to a loss of bowel control, fits and muscle damage. It can also raise the body temperature to dangerous levels.

Ivory Wave Users report intense and painful hangover with paranoid delusions, increased irritations and hallucinations (seeing and hearing things that are not there). These symptoms have been known to last up to 1-2 weeks, although most say the main effects decrease after a few days.

User forums are generally recommending people don’t use it!
