What is Possession?
If you are caught with drugs the Police will take action, even if itfs only a small amount you could get a criminal record. What happens depends on the circumstances and if you have been caught before. You may get a warning and have the drugs confiscated or if it is more serious you will be arrested.

What is Dealing?
Dealing drugs is very serious.

If you are caught with drugs that you are sharing with friends then you will be charged for dealing. If you have a large amount of drugs on you and the police think that is not all for you then they will arrest you on suspicion of dealing.

It is important to remember that even if you are sharing drugs with your friends or you are just passing some to a mate then this will be classed as dealing.

Other Information
Some employers will not give people jobs if they have a criminal record.

Some countries will not allow you to go there on holiday (or to live) if you have a criminal record related to drugs.

It is also illegal to grow or make illegal drugs.
